It shares borders with Kenya in the East, DR Congo in the West, Tanzania in the South, Rwanda in the Southwest, and South Sudan in the north.

Apart from the thrilling draws, Uganda has several things that invite travelers from various corners of the World.

Some of them are welcoming locals, ease of accessibility, favorable climatic conditions, stable security, great hospitality services, favoring financial economy, and a good transport system.

If you are packing for Uganda mainly to encounter the Gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park should be your first stop.

Both Parks occupy some portions of land in the western part of Uganda along the country’s border with Rwanda and DR Congo.

Bwindi is home to the highest percentage of Uganda’s Mountain Gorillas. Tourists who visit this protected area have access to over nineteen fully habituated gorilla families.

These groups inhabit the four sectors of the park named Nkuringo, Ruhija, Rushaga, and Buhoma. Mgahinga has only one group (Nyakagezi) that is available for trekking expeditions.
